Record Purses On The Line For UMP DIRTcar Modifieds During 37th Annual Alltel DIRTcar Nationals |
BARBERVILLE, FL – Feb. 3, 2008 – UMP DIRTcar Racing open-wheel Modified competitors will battle for record purses during the 37th annual Alltel DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.
More than $75,000 in cash will be on the line over eight consecutive nights of UMP DIRTcar Modified action, which kicks off on Tuesday (Feb. 5) and runs through Feb. 12.

On Feb. 5, Wallace will head onto the Volusia Speedway Park clay to begin the eight straight nights of UMP DIRTcar open-wheel Modified racing that are part of the 37th annual Alltel DIRTcar Nationals.

UMP DIRTcar Racing Accelerates Four Compound Tire Rule to Volusia |
CONCORD, N.C. — Jan. 31, 2008 — UMP DIRTcar Racing will accelerate its plan to reintroduce two additional tire compounds into the Super Late Model division beginning with the 37th Alltel DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park .
Beginning next week at the half-mile speedway in Barberville , Fla. , and continuing throughout the season, the LM 10 and LM 30 tire compounds will return to competition, joining the LM 20 and LM 40. For the previous few years, only the LM 20 and LM 40 were approved.
